Quick Overview

  • The warranty requires a pre-construction mock-up and must mirror actual job conditions and methods.

  • Deeper patterns may require back-up strips to support the liner and are noted in the pattern details given in this catalog.

  • The dimensions given are nominal. Temperature changes can cause the liner to expand or contract and should be considered during design and installation.

  • Liners will become more rigid at temperatures below 25°F and should be handled carefully under such conditions.

  • Liners are UV stabilized, but should not be exposed to direct sunlight for prolonged periods.

  • Liners should not be used if concrete temperatures will exceed 140°F or in precast applications employing heated beds.

  • Type 3 concrete with accelerators creates high heat, which can cause damage to the liner.

  • Form Release 7000 is recommended for all liner grades. It is not required for Single-use liners, but the appearance of the concrete will benefit from an application of the release agent.

  • Use a single concrete supplier for uniformity and place the concrete with an elephant trunk to minimize aggregate segregation. Vibrate the concrete to eliminate lift lines and to minimize voids.

  • Clean the liner between casting with a mild detergent and brush and reapply the release agent before each pour.

  • Most form liners are manufactured to order and can not be returned or exchanged.
